I’m an author from the north‑east of England, writing fiction where history, mythology and political intrigue collide. I also write the occasional short story when random ideas arrive and won’t wait their turn.

I’m drawn to things that are eerie or darkly funny, and to characters who, when trapped behind literal or symbolic walls, decide the most sensible course of action is to kick their way through the plaster. (Some succeed. Some make a mess. I enjoy writing about both.)

My debut novel will be published on the 25th of May 2026.
